Conflict Resolution
Complaint Procedure
Where there are any concerns or complaints, we at Minnesota Wildflower Montessori School encourage that individuals first discuss them with the Teacher Leader or staff member involved. To support the communication, we turn to a conflict resolution process that engages our core values of connectedness and growth, seeks to resolve tensions and build our individual and collective capacity for self-management at the same time.
The principal mechanism for this process is direct compassionate conversation- through which we grow our understanding, compassion, and connectedness, and from which we can grow, personally and as a community. It is often the case that a creative and unifying solution is the natural outgrowth of the compassionate conversation approach. In alignment with our commitment to autonomy with support, when direct conversation does not produce a mutually acceptable solution, we offer additional supports and structure to the process, as described below.

Please refer to Policy CW.116 Conflict Resolution for a description and step by step guide of the Conflict Resolution Process.
